Last year, vermin control company Rentokil surprised the culinary world by expanding their services of killing pests to serving them up on a plate in their pop-up restaurant, 'Pestaurant'.
Now the famous eatery is back by popular demand across a selected number of locations in the UK.
In August, Rentokil will offer an array of unorthodox dishes for free including sweet chilli pigeon burgers, salt and vinegar crickets and scorpion lollipops.
Also on the menu is mexican spice mealworms, plain roasted locusts and chocolate covered mixed bugs.
Diners will also be treated to a limited number of specially-commissioned bug bakes cooked from a recipe created by a yet unknown celebrity baker.
Experts will be on hand to discuss the food being served, answer any pest-related questions and give their top tips for avoiding pest problems, which includes anything from moths to mice to moles.
Rentokil began serving edible treats as a way of celebrating its pest control heritage.
Last year’s event attracted more than 3,000 hungry Londoners and its success has taken it across the globe, including pop-ups in Paris, Washington DC, Cape Town, Sydney and Dubai.
