A pub is a great place to spend your evenings in any season but there's something about autumn that makes them extra special. Chilly afternoons spent snuggled up in a sofa beside an open fire and digging into a great roast dinner, while the wind howls outdoors.Bliss!
Thankfully just as the temperature dropped this weekend, Michelin revealed the winners of its best British pubs guide, a highly acclaimed list that is considered the hallmark of fine dining.

We round up all of these top London pubs for roast, pies and mash in our gallery above. Bookmark this page and use it as your checklist for gastropubs to visit this winter.
