It's spring and it's sunny - so what better time to enjoy a Mango Lassi, a deliciously refreshing and healthy drink made from yogurt and mangoes.
Here chef Reza Mahammad, owner of acclaimed London restaurant The Star of India, shares his perfect version of the drink.
Blender at the ready and enjoy!
- 12 cubes of ice
- 850g can of mangoes in syrup
- 500ml of natural yoghurt
- 8 mint leaves
- A pinch of ground cardamom
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 a lemon, juiced
Add the ice to a jug blender along with the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Add a few more cubes of ice to a glass and pour over the lassi mixture, garnish with mint sprigs.
