Celebrating the art of food photography, the first Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year awards took place this week.

Ideal inspiration for your Show Us Your Lunch entries, the first ever international food photography competition saw more than 3,000 photos sent in from over 60 countries, all with the hopes of winning the £5,000 prize and the coveted title of Food Photographer of the Year.

Looking for the best of the bunch in categories such as Food in the Field, Food in Action and Food Portraiture, the esteemed judging panel was chaired by chef and owner of Leon Restaurants, Henry Dimbleby, and included Sheila Dillon, presenter of Radio 4's The Food Programme, Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens as well as the Executive Director of Food for M&S.
