Be it a greasy, hearty plate of English breakfast or a perfectly crafted dessert, when a delicious dish is placed in front of us, we
like to NEED TO take a picture of it to share it with our friends.
Just going by the hashtags #foodgasm, #nom and #foodporn on Instagram, we know we're not alone.
So it only makes perfect sense that a new Instagram-style app has launched solely for food lovers and it's already being used by the stars.
Wine 'n Dine allows users in London and over 15 American cities including Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, to discover the best picture-worthy dishes and share their own foodie recommendations.
So how does it work? Once you snap a picture of your plate, you can select the restaurant and dish name from an in-app menu and upload it to the database.
Other features include a 'wanna try' list, which allows you to save the dishes in the app you like the look of and a trending list of the highest ranked dishes.
The free app made headway this week after model Gigi Hadid spoke about it in an interview with Elle.com. "It's like Instagram, but only for food. You post what you're eating and follow your friends and then you can say, "I wanna try that," and so when you go on your 'wanna try' list it'll tell you where it is."
"My name is ChefBoyerG. I just tried Chobani in Soho. I gave it a four because it didn't blow me away, but it was good for yogurt," she added..
Alongside her sister Bella Hadid, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have used the app this month. Other notable fans of the app include Nicky Hilton and TV personality Lo Bosworth, and we hope many more will come on board soon.
Let's take a look at the best #foodporn dishes Wine 'n Dine's A-list users have devoured.
