Food producers in the UK have finally caught up with the demand for gluten-free.
It's no surprise that the number of people diagnosed in the UK with coeliac disease has increased fourfold between 1990 and 2011. Last month, we were overwhelmed with your response to our round-up of the best gluten-free restaurants, cafes and bakeries in Britain.
But while it's easy to spot a great restaurant for gluten-free diners, it's less easy to find those real gems on the supermarket shelf. For that reason, we cast our watchful eye over the gluten-free food market and round-up the best bread, cakes, flour, meat, soya sauce and snacks to add to your shopping list.
