The best places for brunch and coffee in the UK

If there's one thing we love in life, it's eating. We're especially partial to tucking into a good breakfast, whether that's eggs Florentine, bacon, pancakes and maple syrup, or just good old toast and marmalade.

As for when we do the deed, we're just as happy munching away in the early hours before work, or taking our time over a hearty brunch with the papers.

Here we've compiled the best places to eat breakfast and brunch all over the UK. Choose from quaint little coffee shops to tea emporiums, or lovable greasy spoons and upmarket restaurants. We guarantee you'll find something to whet your appetite.
