We've finally got a bit of decent weather and with that comes our need to indulge in eating as much ice cream to help cool off.
Clearly, the clever folk at Magnum know this and have decided to set up home in Selfridges this summer, offering us the chance to build our own posh version of the sweet treat (scroll down to number 13).
But that's not the only amazing culinary experience on offer for you this summer. From pop-up pizza joints to foraging for your own supper, we've picked some of the most interesting culinary activities for 2014.
Artesian's Unfolding & Exploring cocktail menu, W1B
The world's official best bar regularly updates its cocktail menu to create something exciting and different. This year is no different with the Unfolding & Exploring cocktails, which cost £85,000 to complete and just launched at the beginning of the month. Each cocktail is incomplete, in that the drinker discovers the tipple as it goes down their throats. Essentially, it's like being Violet Beauregarde eating that sweet. Except you won't inflate.
Crosstown Doughnuts, EC1
This is what doughtnut heaven looks, tastes and smells like. Forget the Cronut, this is what you NEED to be eating right now, even if it is more than your weekly recommended calorie intake.
Try a coldbrew, various locations
Stop press: the flat white is no longer cool, especially in the warmer months. Instead, sip on a coldbrew. Sandows in London make very lovely stuff, which also looks great.
Their stockist can be found here sandowslondon.co.uk
Devour grilled cheese sandwiches in a posh wine bar, E2
The wine bar that's opened up in Hackney has become an utter phenomenon and loved by many. Their USP is that they sell high quality wine by the glass meaning you can try an unaffordable drop - that's generally sold by the bottle - for a fraction of the cost. And best of all? They sell the most delicious grilled cheese sandwiches in London.
Forage for your food in Monmouthshire, NP7
Forget heading to Copenhagen for Noma, just stay in the UK for a bit a foraging foodie experience. The Foxhunter in Monmouthshire offers not only the chance for you to try this way of eating but also you can do it yourself. Expect to be eating stuff like nettles and chickweed and come away with some great knowledge on how to identify Britain's delicious edible wild plants.
Posh fried chicken from Clutch, E2
Newly opened Clutch, just off the Hackney Road, aims to make friend chicken that leaves you feeling good. And boy does it deliver! The parmesan and lime tenders are the stuff dreams of made of and the carefully sourced chicken along with the groundnut oil used to fry, leaves you without an ounce of regret post binge.
Have an intimate meal at The Dining Club, CT14
Instead of using the same menu, week in, week out, the Dining Club offers something a little different - it changes its menu on a weekly basis and more than that it offers individual dining rooms. It's like having your very own private dinner party but with fancier food.
The new British Aperitif - Kamm & Sons
You thought 2014 was the year of the Aperol Spritz, how wrong you were. Stocked in London's best bars and restaurants, Kamm & Sons and in particular its 'Brits Spritz' has taken London by storm. Alex Kammerling, has been spreading the good word (and booze) from his Kamm Shed at Street Feast, Dalston Yard and will also be taking it to Jamie Oliver's Big Feastival. Anyone going to Wilderness this year will see that it's the signature aperitif at the St John feasting tent.

Atlanta style BBQ in the Big Smoke, various locations in London
Sure, we're not in America but that doesn't mean we can't eat like our cousins over the other side of the Atlantic. Mrs P's Barbecue is hotly tipped as one of the best street food stalls around and just looking at their Instagram feed is enough to make our mouths water.
