An unlimited cheese and mulled wine festival is coming to London

brooke-lark-200721.jpg

It’s time to invest in a pair of elasticated waist trousers, because a giant cheese board with unlimited cheese and mulled wine is coming to London.

The Giant Cheeseboard will open its doors at Studio 338 in Greenwich for one day only on Saturday 16 December as part of an extra-special (and extra-cheesy) festival. And, as self-proclaimed vino and fromage lovers, we’re already rejoicing, because the entire venue will be transformed into a massive interactive cheeseboard.

Think Honey, I Shrunk The Kids. Only with more cheese, better booze and far less peril.

If you bag yourself a ticket to the event, you’ll find yourself surrounded by brie, cheddar, camembert and more – all of which will be served to you by giant mice.

As the organisers put it: “This Christmas we are going to make it a reality. A cheesy, melty, mulled wine-fuelled reality.

“This is going to change your lives forever.”

Then the lights will dim and the dancing will commence, and DJs will get the party started until 3am.

Throw in copious amounts of mulled wine (the perfect accompaniment to a winter’s day) and you have sheer perfection – particularly when you factor in that the foodie aspect of the festival will be rounded off with generous slabs of cheesecake beside a cosy fireplace.

Once your appetite has been sated, the lights will dim and the dancing will commence, with DJs on standby to keep the party tunes coming until 3am.

Oh, and there’ll be a photo booth to capture all of the cheesy moments too.

Best of all, the organisers really have thought of everything: there’s even going to be a selection of vegan-friendly cheese and wine alternatives on offer, so everybody can join in the fun.

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 1 November at 12pm, and are priced at £30 per person. You can find out more information here.
