Wedding outfits made from sweets

From Dolly Mixture dresses to marshmallow hats

From a wedding dress covered in Dolly Mixtures to a bridal hat decorated with Refreshers and marshmallows, it seems the sweetest way to embellish bridal wear these days is by using actual sweets.

Produced in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and forthcoming street parties, these sugary creations are the result of a collaboration between the international bridal design fair White Gallery London, Tangerine Confectionery and some of the leading names in the world of wedding design, including Ian Stuart and Stephanie Allin.

While the wedding outfits would certainly solve problems for hungry guests or brides in need of a quick sugar rush after getting down the aisle, unfortunately the couture confectionery won't be available to purchase - which is probably a good thing, as the special outfits are likely to cost a (sweet) packet.
