Sheep course for stressed workers

Stressed-out city workers are being encouraged to think outside the pen with an innovative new way of team-building - one that involves chasing sheep around a field.

Raising the Baa is based on a farm in Wiltshire and offers a range of packages aimed at boasting motivation and leadership skills via its flock of sheep.

On the special workshop sessions, worth up to £2,000, office workers get to behave like dogs, rounding the sheep up by running around the field and enclosing them in a pen.

"Encourage trust, unearth leadership skills and discover how optimal allocation of resources can impact results," the website says. "Let the sheep be the judge..."

Its promotional video (below) shows participants happily frolicking in a meadow and singing the praises of the unusual teamwork course.

Raising the Baa is the brainchild of Chris Farnsworth, a former sales executive turned sheepherder.

"We try and show them what lessons can be learnt in the business world from how they deal with the sheep," his wife Caroline explained. "We call it our Open Ewe-niversity."
