Single woman sends her own comedic solo Christmas cards

For the last six years, one woman in America has been putting a singleton's spin on the humble Christmas greeting card and the results are hilarious.

When her four married siblings started sending their own cards and her parents kicked her off theirs for fear it would look "awkward", Bridget McCartney decided to create her own tongue-in-cheek festive card for the holidays.

One featured the 28-year-old having a Christmas party with stuffed toys and another pictured her dining with multiple versions of herself.

The witty cards went viral last year after her brother shared them on Reddit and now he's posted her latest creation.

It features Bridget hugging a chicken named Lil' Molly with a few empty alcohol bottles scattered around the background for good measure.

"I have four sisters. Me and three of my sisters are married," wrote Bridget's brother on Reddit. "Bridget is not. My parents decided it would be awkward to have a Christmas card with just one daughter in it, so they cut Bridget out of their Christmas card (the married siblings all do their own. except me. I'm lazy) So Bridget decided to send her own Christmas cards."

Take a look at the brilliant cards below.
