9 essential things to see and do at this year’s Stylist Live

Our annual Festival of Inspiration is back and bigger than ever before. With more than 150 speakers, 200 boutiques, 80 talks and workshops, this year’s Stylist Live is double the size of last year and there are so many new talks, workshops and events to get stuck into. We’re feeling overwhelmed too – so we’ve put together a list of must-sees to make sure you cover every inch and don’t miss a thing.

1) Have a go on the Vending Machine of Dreams

Fancy yourself a bit of a chancer? If you’re a VIP ticket holder, you can try your luck at the VIP Vending Machine of Dreams in the Stylist VIP Envy Suite brought to you by Nissan Juke . It’s free to play, and you could be waltzing home with a brand-new Louboutin handbag, a plane ticket to the Caribbean or a bag of Candy Kittens – not to be sniffed at.

Stylist Live Catwalk

2) Sit front row at the Stylist Catwalk supported by Babyliss

Each year our in-house fashion team brings the FROW of Fashion Week to Stylist Live. Expect all the glitz and glamour of a high-end fashion show blended with the affordability of the high street – and unlike most couture shows, everything you see on the runway will be available to buy that very weekend.

Stylist Live bar

3) Treat yourself to a tipple at our gin bar

Mid-November isn’t quite party season, but it’s close enough for us to soften our stance on daytime drinking ever so slightly. Take advantage of the free welcome drink on entry, before heading to the central bar later in the day for a well-deserved G&T. You’ve earned it.

Stylist Live Shopping

4) Stock up on some truly unique Christmas gifts

Never managed to quite get your big sister’s Christmas present right? This year, have another go by perusing the 200+ pop-ups that bring individual, quirky items to the fore. Say goodbye to another giftcard and hello to luxe homeware, beautiful jewellery and out-of-the-ordinary presents for your nearest and dearest (and maybe something for yourself, too).

5) Get up close and personal with our fabulous headliners

Ever wondered what your fave stars are like up close? Wonder no more. You’ll be within spitting distance (please don’t, though) of some of the UK’s most-loved household names, as we get up close and personal with TV and radio personalities, national foodies and more. This year’s Stylist Live line-up includes the lovely Emma Willis, Fearne Cotton, Katherine Ryan, Russell Brand, Sarah Millican, Robert Webb, Joel Dommett, Nigella Lawson and more.

6) Marvel at our bigger, brighter stage sets

This year, we’ve gone big. Check out the brand-new stage sets adorning Stylist Live’s new home in Kensington Olympia and marvel at what’s on them, too. Think neon lights, overgrown letters and plants hanging from the ceiling. Your Instagram feed will thank you for it.

Stylist Live Food

7) Snack on delicious street food

It just wouldn’t be a festival without some street food to help you to refuel. Head over to the Gourmet on the Go area to figure out whether you’re in the mood for a burger or a burrito. Or both. We’re not judging.

8) Get the inside scoop from our board of influencers

All the authors, bloggers, Insta-names and experts you could wish for are in one place at Stylist Live 2017. With the aim of giving you the insights and tools to start 2018 without looking back, these women (and men) are a pretty special bunch, and will be hosting all of our sessions across the festival. View the full line-up here.

Stylist Live nail bar

9) Modernise your manicure at our nail bar

When your brain needs a break from all of the note-taking, and your feet are aching from too many steps, why not stop by the nail bar for a quick file and polish, because hey – if we’re going to think like a boss, our hands should look the part too.

Stylist Live brings everything you love about Stylist magazine to life across three days of experts, interviews, comedy, food, beauty and fashion exclusives. 10 -12 November, Olympia London. Tickets start from just £15. Buy tickets here.
