The most touching and emotional first look wedding photos on the internet

The trend for first look, or sneak peek photos as part of a wedding album is growing. A first look photo is taken when the bride and groom secretly meet before the wedding, and the photographer captures their happy expressions as they see each other in their wedding attire for the first time.

With the traditional secrecy behind what the bride is wearing, first look photos often show the culmination of all the planning and emotion that goes into arranging a wedding, as the couple see each other for the first time and begin their wedding day, and the results are always very special.

We spoke to photographers from wedding blogs and put together a few of our favourite pictures of grooms seeing their brides for the first time, showing the love between the couples perfectly. It's not one for the cynics, but the rest of you might need to grab a tissue box.
