Watch Kristen Wiig and Penelope Cruz in the new Zoolander 2 trailer

We’ve been waiting for this moment ever since Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson strutted down the Valentino catwalk during Paris Fashion Week in March earlier this year, announcing that a follow up to the 2001 movie, Zoolander, was in the making,

Finally we’ve got an idea of what Zoolander 2 is all about, as the two minute trailer was released today.

Stiller is back to play the Blue Steel king, Derek Zoolander, alongside Wilson as hippy-model Hansel.

And, of course, Will Ferrell is back in his evil mastermind role Maguta.

And on the newcomer front, none other than Penelope Cruz and Kristen Wiig have joined to cast to help unravel the next part of the story.

Once competing against each other as the best male models in the world, both Zoolander and Hansel have fallen out of touch in the fashion world in the sequel film.

That’s until Montana Grosso, (Cruz) recruits them to stop an evil plot to kill the most beautiful people in the world – AKA Justin Bieber. Wiig makes her appearance in the trailer as fashion enthusiast and fan of Zoolander, Alexanya Atoz, wearing a string of questionable outfits.  Benedict Cumberbatch also appears in the trailer, playing an androgynous model.

Christine Taylor, who played Matilda Jeffries in the first film, is reported to be making a comeback in the new movie, too. As is Billy Zane, who played… Billy Zane.

We don’t know how the plot will unfold as of yet, but we do know that we can’t wait for to film to hit the big screens in February 2016.
