This man nailed a Valentine's photo shoot with the new love of his life

Sometimes it doesn't matter if you've only been together a few weeks: true love can hit you between the eyes like a bullet and you just know you've found The One.

And so it was for Jonathan Graziano, a writer from New York, who met his significant other just last month and decided to show off their relationship to the world with a Valentine's Day photo shoot.

It matters not that the object of his affections is a seven-year-old pug.

As with many great love stories, the pair were set up by a mutual acquaintance and according to Graziano, 25, love was instant.

“The moment I looked into those big bug eyes, I knew that Noodle was The Pug of my Dreams,” he told barkpost.com, citing Noodle's “deadpan” sense of humour and similar interests in brunch and Dirty Dancing routines as key elements of their relationship.

The happy pair enlisted the services of photographer Brittany Worgan to help capture the very essence of their playful, loving companionship in New York's Central Park, and the results, we're sure you'll agree, are an accurate photographic representation of the love between man and dog.

Worgan tells Stylist.co.uk: “I'm a documentary and editorial photographer so when I was approached by BarkPost to shoot this I wanted to make sure it was done right.

“The art director, Tazz Uppin, and I agreed, it had to be cheesy and ridiculous for it to work. But that wasn't to say they couldn't look really beautiful too. Jonathan is a stand-up comedian: his talent and Noodle's relaxed demeanor was cast perfectly.”

Some may say the words ‘heart-warming’, ‘inspirational’ and ‘hashtag life goals’ are bandied about all too often these days. To them, we say look at more pictures of pugs.

Take a look at a few more shots below, and follow Noodle on Instagram here. Read the full story and see more pictures of one man and his pug here.
