Valentine’s for one

Eat out alone without feeling like a leper

Zizzi Central St Giles has banned couples from their restaurant this Valentine’s, and they're putting on a very special event for singles. They've teamed up with online dating site for music lovers, Tastebuds.fm, to create a unique singles night, with live music, food and drink. It starts at 7pm with unlimited prosecco for the first hour, canapes and wine tasting for £10. There are limited spaces so call 020 7240 8447 to book your spot.

Cocktails with the girls

There’s nothing better to lift the spirits than getting dressed up and having cocktails with the girls on Valentine’s night. Do a bit of research before you head out because they’re plenty of single drinks or free entry offers on during Valentine’s; have a look on Groupon.co.uk, vouchercodes.co.uk and squaremeal.co.uk.

Spa treat

If you’re feeling a bit delicate and you’re in need of some pampering and me time, then why not treat yourself to a day spa treat or even a massage or facial will make you feel extra special and relaxed.

Valentine’s @ late

If you want to celebrate the romance of Valentine’s but you’ve got no way to channel the energy then the Museum of London has a special event on that will satisfy your romantic yearnings. Valentine’s @ late will have a Valentine's themed bar, amazing dance class company Stardust Ball will be giving starter classes in Cha-cha-cha and Rumba, you can learn how to make pretty cards at the paper cutting workshop, drink some aphrodisiac love potions created by jelly meisters Bompass & Parr and giggle over an assortment of X-rated objects curated by Coco de Mer's Sam Roddick.
