Craft your own Christmas at Stylist and Pinterest's Handmade pop-up

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Well, it is at 15 Bateman Street, in London’s Soho, where Stylist and Pinterest have joined forces for a very special pop-up to create our first Handmade Christmas Issue.

If the snow machine outside isn’t enough to get you in the Christmas spirit, then there’s plenty to tempt you in. From on-trend Christmas decoration ideas, to a forest of mini paper trees and the biggest wreath we’ve seen this year, even the biggest Scrooge couldn’t fail to feel festive after a visit to The Handmade Studio.

Time to get your craft on...

But don’t worry if you didn’t get a ticket to one of our exclusive crafting workshops, there is still plenty to keep you occupied. Put your paper-folding skills to the test by creating an origami Christmas tree, tuck into seasonal flavoured gourmet popcorn courtesy of Joe & Seph’s (the mince pie flavour went down very well with guests on Thursday) and mingle with members of the Stylist team to learn more about the collaboration.

If you’re looking for seasonal inspiration, you can browse Pinterest on our dedicated computers and learn how to become an expert pinner (we’ve got our hearts set on a DIY vintage ladder and bauble tree this year).

And don’t leave before stopping by the Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate station for the most indulgent hot drink you’ll have all year. We’re talking salted caramel, rum, cocoa cream, all topped with mini marshmallows, edible glitter and a tiny candy cane. Oh, and if that’s not enough, there are iced doughnuts too.

DIY-ing your own Christmas has never been so easy

Hot chocolate, anyone?

The event continues tonight (Friday) from 5pm to 9pm, and from 10am to 4pm tomorrow (Saturday).

Plus, if you’re a budding fashion designer and want to see your product on the pages of Stylist, we are offering one reader the chance to have their item of clothing or accessory featured on our prestigious Most Desired page. Make sure you pop down between 11am and 4pm on Saturday to show the Stylist fashion team your item, and they will choose one outstanding piece to feature in our special issue.

Race you to the hot chocolate stand!

Visit the Stylist and Pinterest pop-up at 15 Bateman Street, London, W1D 3AQ; Friday 18 November from 5pm to 9pm and Saturday 19 November from 10am to 4pm; @stylistmagazine #PinterestUK #thehandmadeissue
