Illustrated, hand lettered and limited edition: 25 of the best prints to hang in your home

Got your paint sorted? It's time to tackle those bare walls.

Art for the home doesn't have to be expensive. Whether you choose something from Etsy or an original limited edition screen print, there are plenty of fun and colourful options to buy online.

Once you've selected a few favourite pieces, it's time to hang them on wall. Interior design experts agree that the best height to place a picture is generally eye level - and the best advice we've heard is to make sure that the centre of the piece sits roughly 57" (approx 145cm) from the floor. Not only is this the best height to view art (it's the height used in most galleries), it also gives the most design-friendly spacing between furniture and frame.

Talking of framing, this can be tricky (and pricey) if art isn't a standard size. However, there's a work around for those in-the-know: simply order a custom mount that will fit a standard frame, and you're good to go.

Ready to choose your art? Browse the gallery below for our selection of the 25 best prints to buy now.
