There are some events that you just need to attend. Like your pick of the summer festivals or the launch of a new cocktail bar in town.

However, now there’s another crucial date you need to carve out some time for; our brilliant lecture series Stylist Life Lessons, where inspiring women share the one Life Lesson they feel every woman should know. So, on 11 September we’re hosting our second Life Lessons event in London’s Ham Yard Hotel.

Kirstie Allsopp, property expert and master craftswoman will take to the podium accompanied by TV presenter June Sarpong and psychotherapist Leyla Hussein, all keen to impart their wisdom and send you back into the evening renewed and inspired.

Tickets are available now, cost £45 and can be purchased here.

And a bit more about our first Life Lessons event...

Last month, we hosted our first ever Stylist Life Lessons event, where US media entrepreneur Arianna Huffington, founder of The Everyday Sexism Project Laura Bates and comedian Francesca Martinez shared the most important thing they've learned to date.

But if you thought you'd completely missed out by not getting a ticket (the event sold out in hours), we have some good news for you: we have in fact recorded the whole thing for you to watch whenever you want.

Described as a "truly inspiring evening" by many of the 175 attendees, Arianna advocated a regular digital detox to recharge your batteries, Laura highlighted the rewards of taking a leap into the unknown and Francesca stresed that everyone should define who they are rather than letting others do it for them.

So grab your salad, sarnie, or sushi and settle in for the most inspirational lunch break ever. Watch highlights from the event, or the full shebang, with our two videos below.
