Snow swept across the UK this weekend, transforming much of the country into a wintry landscape of Narnia-esque proportions.

Whether you, like Stylist, spent the precious hours of snow attempting to sledge on a baking tray, or whether you were snuggled up by the fire with a glass of red wine, there's no denying the beautiful scenes the winter conditions created.

Below, we've selected some the most scenic photos of snow-covered landmarks and parks from all over Britain, along with a few seriously dare-devil antics.

Come enjoy the photos - or send us your own snaps of snowy Britain on Twitter.
