Golden Globes: red carpet arrivals 2013

The 70th Golden Globes was a place for risk-taking on the red carpet this year, with plenty of bold new trends to whet the appetite. While the flared mermaid hem showed no sign of abating (Amy Adams, Taylor Swift and Jessica Alba all embraced it), there were many other audacious looks on parade. Jennifer Lawrence, Claire Danes, Marion Cotillard and Zooey Deschanel placed warm colour firmly on the fashion radar, showcasing a rainbow of vivid, eye-catching tones from burnt orange through to peach. Then there was Lucy Liu in show-stopping Carolina Herrera and Jennifer Lopez in flamboyant Zuhair Murad. Plus nudes, ethereal shades, sparkles and retro waves saw a resurgence too. Check out the fashion highlights from the Golden Globe arrivals, below or click here to find out who won what in the ceremony.
