Adele is pregnant and announced the news via her website today.

“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she said referring to her 36-year-old boyfriend Simon Konecki. “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”

Adele’s boyfriend runs the Brighton-based charity Drop4Drop, dedicated to helping people in developing countries have access to clean water. They have been together since January of this year (2012).
