Who, upon the sight of an industrial-sized fan, has not wanted to jump in front of it and pretend they are Beyoncé?
Well, Adele got the chance to do just that over the weekend, in the most incredibly Adele style ever.
Clutching a cup of tea as she paused during a concert in Melbourne, Australia, the 28-year-old British hitmaker wafted herself in front of the cool air when inspiration struck. Of course, she would perform a mini rendition of Bey’s 2003 mega-hit Crazy in Love.
“Gimme a beat,” she told her band.
And it wasn’t only the song she went for - Ads naturally took on Beyoncé’s spectacular hair-flipping dance move from the iconic video too.
Wearing a glittering off-shoulder ruby dress, the Hello star threw herself into the head-spinning move, to the delight of 77,000 fans at the the city’s Etihad Stadium.

The results were fabulous – but not quite Queen Bey standard.
“I don’t know how she does it, even just squatting down then ... how does she do it,” Adele asked her delighted audience.
“Oh s**t, what’s going on with me hair, medic, medic,” she said, according to news.com.au. “Hang on put the camera so I can see myself down there ... Zoom in a minute, I’ve got dodgy hair.”
Now, here’s a reminder of how it should really go...
Adele and Beyonce are of course friends, as well as global musical megastars. Saturday night’s onstage homage to the 35-year-old Lemonade star followed her tribute to Bey last month at the Grammys, when she broke her Song of the Year award for 25 in half to offer to her idol.
“I can't possibly accept this award," she said in a heartfelt speech directed at Bey. “The Lemonade album was just so monumental, Beyoncé. It was so monumental and well thought-out and beautiful and soul-bearing...
“The way you make me and my friends feel… the way you make my black friends feel is so empowering. I love you. I always have and always will.”
“All of us artists here adore you,” she said. “You are our light.”
As well as her Crazy in Love antics, the singer upheld her tradition of hosting couples’ marriage proposals onstage. On the last night of her Australian tour, she “randomly” pulled a fan called Chris out of the audience to join her onstage with his boyfriend.
Chris’ boyfriend then got down on one knee and you can guess the rest.
She branded the engagement ring “sharp”.
“I had no idea that was going to happen," she told the crowd. "So that was unplanned, I had no idea there, Chris. I'm sorry."
