Adele has tripled her annual wealth thanks to the international success of her second album 21.

The multi-Grammy winner’s fortune has grown by £14 million to £20 million in one year, securing her the top spot among the UK's richest young musicians on the Sunday Times Rich List 2012.

The singer from Tottenham has had a triumphant year after struggling with health problems, winning six Grammys and two Brit awards.

Keira Knightley, the third richest young British movie star

A clear front-runner, Adele's fortune is valued at £8million more than that of Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis and Katie Melua, all in joint second place with a pay packet of £12million. Joss Stone came in fifth with £9million, making it an all-female top five for the UK's wealthiest musicians.

Craig David and Paulo Nutini are the only men to make the top ten list in the same category.

According to The Sunday Times, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe remains the richest young actor in the UK with a personal fortune of £54million - up from £48 million in 2011. In second place is Twilight star Robert Pattinson, worth £40million.

Keira Chaplin, granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin and the second richest model in the UK

Keira Knightley, the third richest young British film star, also topped the richest in modelling shortlist. The face of Chanel is worth £30million. Keira Chaplin, the model granddaughter of star Charlie Chaplin, bagged second place with £28million. Harry Potter star Emma Watson came in third with £26million thanks to her lucrative modelling contact for Burberry.
