Celebrity friends hanging out

Despite what you might hear, celebrities aren't always in the midst of feuding with each other. In fact, a lot of them are friends. Good friends, even. And they actually hang out in real life, and not just on the set of their latest movie, TV show or video shoot.

Case in point: Stella McCartney, Naomi Watts, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sam Taylor-Wood, Gwen Stefani and others took a shot of themselves enjoying a girls' night out last week.

Other celeb mates hanging out include Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon, who all attended cooking classes together. Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley seems to have a lot of starry friends she's fond of, and gets birthday parties thrown for her by Nicole Richie.

Singer Taylor Swift has well documented her friendship with model Karlie Kloss and fellow musician Lorde. But the buddies that surprised us most is that Michelle Dockery and Jessie Ware. Who knew?

Take a look at more celebrities and their celebrity friends doing regular stuff (like posing for selfies) below.
