Charlotte Casiraghi in quirky costume

She may often be compared with her grandmother, Grace Kelly, famed for her ice queen looks but on Saturday evening Charlotte Casiraghi showed a much funnier side

Casiraghi, a keen equestrian, was competing in the three-day prestigious Gucci Masters event, held in Paris. Donning an over-sized black wig over a helmet and accompanied by a pair of glitter gold sunglasses, the Royal tackled the show-jumping course unfazed by her colourful costume.

This year the exclusive horse show has attracted a wide range of celebrities from tennis-pro Martina Hingis to Princess Caroline of Hanover. Despite having been an accomplished rider for over ten years, Charlotte Casiraghi still classifies herself as an amateur and is currently working as the editor of the eco-conscious publication EVER Manifesto.
