It’s easy to go overboard on Chrissy Teigen admiration, given she’s one of the few celebrities on social media who opts out of bland PR inanities – realising that an actual sense of humour and apparent honesty is probably better self-promotion than generic airbrushed perfection.
So it’s not surprising that she chose to document the Grammys, which she attended with husband John Legend, on her various social media feeds, including several slightly-less-than-sober moments.

Taking to Snapchat, Teigen filmed herself sat drunkenly on the kitchen floor at the end of the night while Legend attempted to untangle her necklaces, and the sweet moment instantly made the rounds online, with her many fans (and not a few media outlets) describing it as “relationship goals” or “couple goals”.
However, while she initially retweeted one follower, who wrote “John helping a drunk @chrissyteigen take off her jewellery is my new favourite thing. Goals”, she’s now concisely pointed out that the huge amount of interest in the 50-second clip might indicate a rather sad state of affairs.
How is John taking off my jewelry "relationship goals" like your fuckin boyfriend won't take your necklace off jfc leave him— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) February 14, 2017
(FYI, “jfc” in this instance meaning “Jesus f***ing Christ”, of course.)
Which is fair enough.
The 31-year-old model’s straightforward approach to Twitter, Instagram and the like has won her tens of millions of followers, and she explained last year how in 2015 she’d decided to stop using apps to airbrush out perceived flaws, such as stretchmarks, in her pictures, saying: “I just didn’t feel like doing it anymore – and I’m never doing it again, because I think we forgot what normal people look like now.”
