“I binge-watched it all in two nights” David Gandy talks Making a Murderer and his love of dogs in the new issue of Stylist

Ever wondered how David Gandy spends his evenings? Binge-watching the hugely-popular Netflix show Making a Murderer, that's what.

He has added his name to the ever-growing list of celebrities giving their verdicts on the infamous court case.

The model, 35, was interviewed for the Spring/Summer 2016 Fashion Issue of Stylist, which is available to download now in its digital format before hitting the streets this afternoon.

Gandy tells entertainment editor, Helen Bownass, that he’s unsure about whether the documentary’s protagonist, Steven Avery, is guilty of the murder he is accused of, saying:

“If he had not been in prison for 18 years before and that had not been known, you probably would’ve thought he did.

“But… it’s so compelling, isn’t it? I binge-watched it all in two nights.”

Gandy was interviewed in Battersea, near the Dogs and Cats home for which he is an ambassador. During the interview, he took a dog for a walk and told Stylist all about his love of dogs, posing with them for the photoshoot.

He also talks about the stereotype that is emerging of male models after the success of the Zoolander films.

“I find it very funny. It’s nice not to take it seriously; I have a very non-serious view of the industry.”

But Gandy is quick to stress that he is nothing like the stereotypical airhead some may assume.

“Hopefully when people see what I do for charities and businesses and the fashion industry, [they’ll see] that there is another side to it.”

“I’m a factual reader. I’m very much into history and World War Two and Winston Churchill. He was really into innovations and science, which is fascinating.”

That all being said, we do enjoy the accompanying images of Gandy posing with the dogs he loves so much: true pedigree indeed.
