Ellen DeGeneres announced as the next Oscars host

Ellen DeGeneres Oscars Host.jpg

Ellen DeGeneres. You remember her, right? Well, she of wonderful hosting abilities and amazingly quiffy hair has just been announced as the next host of the Academy Awards.

This is particularly good news considering the backlash that Seth MacFalarne caused last year. In fact, it could be the perfect antidote.

Ellen has hosted the prestigious awards before back in 2007, which was met with mixed reviews, as well as the Emmys in 2001 and 2005. That said, we're looking forward to seeing how she fares in 2014.

So, what do you think? Is Ellen a good choice?
