Emilia Clarke: Madonna asked to borrow my Daenerys costume

Madonna is a massive Game of Thrones fan. How do we know this? Well, because she posted a selfie on Instagram wearing the Daenerys Targaryen costume.

However, little did we know that it was Emilia Clarke's actual costume from the actual show.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Clarke admitted that the pop star contacted HBO, and asked to borrow the black leather corset and long dress.

She said: "I got an email [from HBO's publicity department] asking "Madonna wants to borrow the costume is that ok? I was like 'I must be dreaming."

Madonna had wanted to borrow the costume for the Jewish festival of Purim.

On the show, Fallon also revealed that he was massive Game of Thrones fan and shared a photo of himself dressed as Daenerys. Alas, we do not have a picture of that yet.

Later on, the actress told the talk-show host that she had been in LA during the earthquake that reached 4.4 on the Richter scale.

Luckily, some advice she'd seen on a movie helped her stay safe. "I was brushing my teeth and I had this vague rememberance of an American movie that told you to stay in a doorway so I did. I survived."

On being asked about her audition for the show, Clarke admitted that she was so nervous she wasn't quite sure what to do. In fact, she did a funny little dance.

"There was a lot of adrenaline, I was very nervous, it was a big deal. I was very anxious. I was asking if I could do anything else."

But on being asked to dance, she admitted: "I [didn't] know how to do it, but I did the funky chicken and I morphed into the robot."
