Get ready to jump up, squeal and throw your hands in the air because it seems a Spice Girls reunion is in the making.
Speaking to The Daily Star, Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) revealed the band still have many unreleased songs. "There's lots," said the 39-year-old. "We recorded lots and lots and lots of songs."
With next year marking the 20th anniversary of the girl group's debut song Wannabe - which went to number one in over 30 countries - the Heart FM radio presenter was asked if the group would consider a reunion for the momentous occasion.
"We love each other and we love performing together," she replied. "It's just when the timing is right because we all have our own careers now and we have families, it's just about getting five schedules together and that's all it is."
Bunton is said to have recently met up with Geri Halliwell and Melanie Brown to discuss the comeback.
The star also said she still has much of the merchandise from the band's heyday. "I've got the wallpaper, the dolls, the crisps. I've got it all."
Since their debut in 1994, the Spice Girls released four albums, including a greatest hits compilation. They sold 80 million records worldwide, making £537 million over the course of their careers.
Bunton, Halliwell (Ginger), Brown (Scary), Victoria Beckham (Posh) and Melanie Chisholm (Sporty) were last publicly seen together in December 2012 at the launch of Viva Forever!, a West End musical written by actress Jennifer Saunders and Mama Mia creator Judy Craymer in celebration of the band's songs.
Unforgettably, the girls made a triumphant return to the stage earlier that year at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics. If you need a reminder of how brilliant they were, or you just need to spice up your life (sorry), watch the clip below...
