Gwen Stefani, George Clooney and Julia Roberts slay Carpool Karaoke

Gwen.jpg

We say this every time, but this might be the best Carpool Karaoke yet.

Stylist favourite Gwen Stefani just joined Late Late Show presenter James Corden to belt out a few of her top tunes, and it was everything. From their discussion about the true meaning of the aubergine emoji, to Gwen's masterful breakdown of the insanely fast lyrics on The Sweet Escape, we were hooked from the off.

But it's somewhere around the seven-minute mark, when superstars George Clooney and Julia Roberts casually hop in the car for a group sing-a-long, that we knew this episode was going to be something special indeed. As the foursome chant B-A-N-A-N-A-S together (we like the bit where George tries to gently mansplain the meaning of Hollaback Girl, prompting Gwen's intriguing revelation that she'll never confess the true inspiration behind the song) we realised that James Corden has now taken his Carpool Karaoke game to another level.

Adele, Sia and Jennifer Lopez, your epic performances now have some strong competition.
