Gwyneth Paltrow says Chris Martin is like a “brother” to her

Whether you love them or hate them, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have defied the odds when it comes to celebrity break-ups. They famously coined the phrase “consciously uncoupling” to describe their March 2014 split, and now the actress has made a rather strange comparison, describing the Coldplay star, 38, more as a brother than an ex.

"We're still very much a family, even though we don't have a romantic relationship. He's like my brother," she told American Glamour

Gwyneth Paltrow says the pair still sleep at each other's homes

And that’s not all. Paltrow, 43, also revealed that the couple, who aren't officially divorced, regularly stay over at each other’s homes for the sake of their children, Apple, 11, and Moses, nine.

"We spend a lot of time together. He's been away for two weeks (promoting his album). Last night he got in at midnight and slept here so he could surprise the kids in the morning, we could all have breakfast, and he could take them to school.

"So we're not living together, but he's more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids. We'll have a weekend all together; holidays, we're together."

The actress is currently dating producer Brad Falchuk and has decided to have a break from acting to focus on her Goop lifestyle empire.
