Happy Birthday Kate!

Every year Kate Moss brightens up gloomy January with her lavish birthday parties, but this time she's kept it low key...

The world’s most recognisable face has lived her life in the fast lane for many years (Kate was spotted at the age of 14) with a string of high-profile boyfriends and even higher-profile scandals making her a tabloid journalist's dream. Despite years of partying she’s made it to her fourth decade (relatively) unscathed but how is Mossy celebrating this year?

For her 30th birthday in 2004, Kate threw a Beautiful and the Damned party, inspired by F Scott Fitzgerald's decadent novel, to which she wore a shimmering vintage blue sequinned gown. In 2008 she wore a star-scattered Chanel jumpsuit to her epic birthday celebrations.

Last year she held a medieval-style bash, complete with a pig's head on the banqueting table and the usual A-list entourage. Strangely enough this year there have been no sightings of the newly-married Mrs Hince - maybe married life has calmed the mother-of-one's partying ways…

Wherever she is and whatever she's doing, we wish the iconic model a very happy birthday and look forward to seeing her making more appearances on the catwalk for pals like Marc Jacobs and bagging more high profile ad campaigns as her career continues to flourish.
