The beauty of the Grammy awards is that you know you're always going to get a great show.

Not only do you get to see some incredible outfits, such as these red carpet gowns, you also watch some of the best artists in the world take to the stage.

But on top of the performances and the dresses, there are always a few controversial moments and showbiz encounters that prove just as entertaining.

Just for you, we've rounded-up highlights from this year's awards ceremony; from Beyonce and Jay Z reactions to Kanye West storming the stage to the touching moment Blue Ivy spots her friend Rihanna, as well as Taylor Swift dancing without a care in the world.

See all our favourite moments below..

Kanye West storms the stage (again)

In what seemed terrifyingly like a repeat of the infamous Taylor Swift  moment at the 2009 VMAs, once again Kanye West decided to get up on stage as Beck was given the gong of best album. Thankfully, it was all in jest! Oh how we laughed!

Beyonce and Jay Z's reactions are incredible

But that didn't mean that Queen Bey and her husband were convinced he wasn't about to pull a similar stunt. Their faces, caught by one crafty Viner, are absolutely exceptional.

See, shocked faces all round.

This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!

Rihanna and Blue Ivy share a sweet moment

Award controversies aside, one of our favourite pictures from the night was when Blue Ivy and Rihanna share a moment. She probably thinks Rihanna's a real-life Disney princess.

Kristen Wiig performs Sia's Chandelier

Hit-maker Sia isn't  one to court the limelight, which is possibly why she attended the awards do wearing a massive wig. However, she did sort of perform her hit single Chandelier,with 12-year-old dancer Maddie Ziegler, who also features in the official video. However, unsurprisingly, Sia mainly stayed in the background while Kristen Wiig did a dance with Maddie instead.

Kanye West and Taylor Swift hug

Despite the aforementioned controversy, Kanye and Taylor have clearly left their former grievances in the past. Five years on from that infamous VMA moment, the musicians shared a friendly embrace at last night's event. That Taylor, she's a forgiving sort.

Beyonce and Jay Z pose up a storm as they hold their Grammy awards backstage

The king and queen of RnB and rap add another five gongs to add to their already bulging awards cabinet. In fact, they probably have a whole house just for their awards. Probably.

Paul McCartney does some epic Dad dancing

We've all been there. You get up and start dancing because you're really into a song, only to realise that no one else has done the same. So you quietly try to sit back down without anyone noticing you. No such luck for Macca.

Pharrell throws Taylor Swift some serious shade

Taylor Swift is similar to Sir Paul in that she loves a good dance, especially at an awards ceremony. Here she is bopping along at last night's event, with Pharrell Williams giving her some serious side-eye. Haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate....
