Watch: James Corden becomes all five of the Spice Girls in hilarious new video

James Corden is definitely on top of the world at the moment.

Not only is the former Gavin & Stacey star commanding The Late Late Show in the USA, but he’s also launched the successful Carpool Karaoke franchise, and landed a plummy role as Peter Rabbit in the upcoming film adaptation of the classic Beatrix Potter novel.

And now, in a special new collaboration with Apple Music, the comedian has transformed into all five of the Spice Girls.

It’s very zig-a-zig-aah, if we do say so ourselves.

However, if the thought of Corden donning Mel C’s tracksuit, Geri’s red mini, Mel B’s leopard-print jumpsuit, Victoria Beckham’s little Gucci dress, or Emma Bunton’s baby-pink garb doesn’t grab your fancy, there’s plenty more on offer in the ad.

We also see him transform into David Bowie, dress up in Pharrell’s outsized hat, and pondering some even wackier ideas than that.

"Okay, here's your commercial: What if I'm giving birth to Justin Bieber who's giving birth to Anthony Kiedis who's giving birth to a phone," Corden pitches at a boardroom of Apple Music executives, all while remaining completely straight-faced.

And, unsurprisingly, they aren’t the biggest fans of the idea.

It may just be the closest we get to seeing the original Spice Girls together again, after it was recently confirmed that Scary, Baby, and Ginger Spice are reforming the group without Posh and Sporty.

Instead, the three women intend to hold a series of televised auditions, in a bid to cherry-pick two new Spice Girls from the general public.

The auditions and heats will take place over five weeks next April, followed by a week of live shows.

The winners will be announced during a live finale on BBC1, before going on to rehears and train with the remaining three Spice Girls.

The new quintet will take to the stage together at their special anniversary concert in Hyde Park next July.

We wonder if they’ll stop by James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke along the way…?
