Julia Restoin-Roitfeld Announces Pregnancy

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, model and daughter of ex-French Vogue Editor Carine Roitfeld, revealed yesterday that she is expecting her first child

Announcing on her Facebook page that she is to be “a future mommy”, Julia said that she is three-months pregnant with her first child with boyfriend and fellow model Robert Konjic.

The model’s last public outing was at the Victoria’s Secret annual fashion show last Wednesday, where she showed no sign of a baby bump as she walked the pink carpet.

Tributes from friends and family came pouring in shortly after the announcement. Derek Blasberg, American fashion writer and author, tweeted: “Congrats to lovely @RestoinRJulia! She just told me she's going to be a mother... Which makes Carine Roitfeld the world's sexiest grannie?”

Carine Roitfeld, when asked about her reaction to the news and the thought of becoming a grandmother for the first time, replied saying the baby will call her ‘Madame’.

Julia and Robert met five years ago and split their time between homes in New York and London.
