Lady Gaga and James Corden are the perfect odd couple in new Carpool Karaoke

Since 2016, the passenger seat in James Corden’s carpool has been occupied by superstars including Michelle Obama, Britney Spears and Adele.

But while Corden might have a surprisingly good singing voice, the boy from the London suburbs has never been particularly known for his unique brand of eccentric, Manhattan-flavoured glamour. Enter, with a drum roll and an explosion of glitter: Lady Gaga.

Gaga is the latest luminary to hitch a ride with Corden in Carpool Karaoke, and if this new teaser trailer is anything to go by, the job’s a good’un.

"Not ideal for driving, but I do feel alive": James Corden gets a Gaga makeover.

The clip shows Corden and Gaga driving through L.A. Channelling her inner New York taxi driver, a gold-clad Gaga yells “MOVE!” at passing pedestrians – before launching into Ludicris’ 2001 classic Move Bitch Get Out Da Way.

The dynamic duo also perform a rendition of Gaga’s Bad Romance – complete with monster-claw dance moves – just in time for Halloween.

And because nobody can spend time with the erstwhile Stefani Germanotta without becoming at least moderately kookier, we also get a glimpse of Corden with a Gaga-style makeover.

The full video will premiere on Tuesday, but you can watch the sneak preview below.
