Lady Gaga once again didn't disappoint viewers when she performed on X Factor last night. Halloween may be over but Lady Gaga still managed to thrill last night's viewers with her controversial 'headless' performance. Gaga also took a shine to booted off contestant Kitty Brucknell whose disappointment turned into a blessing she was rewarded with a surprise hug from her idol Gaga .

On the Saturday night , with performances that paid homage to the group Queen and Lady Gaga, contestant KittyBrucknell had sung Gaga's ' Born this Way' as a nod to her idol. The next night saw Gaga herself on stage giving one of her requisite shock performance - one that saw the singer dressed as a decapitated corpse as she sang her new track Marry The Night on the results show. This ended with her still holding on to her' bodiless head' while being interviewed by an awkward Dermot O'Leary, the show's presenter.

Later, after the sing off between Kitty and Misha B resulted in Kitty being booted off the show by the judges, viewers were stunned as Gaga , flanked by her minders, shouting 'Where's Kitty?' ran unto the stage to comfort the disraught contestant.

They then proceeded to Gaga's dressing room for drinks and a heart to heart.

They do say every cloud has a silver lining. This certainly seems the case for Kitty, 26, who worked as a Gaga impersonator before finding fame on X Factor. Gaga's Little Monsters must all be gnashing at the teeth.
