Little Boots' latest single Headphones is released this weekend, with a retro-inspired video directed by Bullion Collective.

The British club pop star - real name Victoria Hesketh - has enlisted a line-up of respected industry names to collaborate on the release, including New York-based DJ duo The Knocks, garage producer Todd Edwards and electro-disco DJ Ronika.

"The inspiration for the video was partly from the wim wenders film 'Paris Texas' and the idea of a peep show revolving around headphones and listening to music as opposed to talking," Little Boots, who is gearing up for a festival tour this summer, explained. "We wanted to create an energetic party atmosphere to fit the song whilst avoiding the clichés of a lot of current club themed videos."

Get a taste of Headphones, released this Sunday (3 June) on itunes, with our preview clip and exclusive artwork below.
