Live web chat: Susannah Hooker

susannah.jpg

This week's lunchtime masterclass is with Susannah Hooker - aka "Hooker the Booker" - Head of New Faces at Select Model Management.

Starting out as a fashion stylist, Susannah uncovered her passion for creating iconic looks working with young models, wonderful photographers and the fashion media.

Her strong sense of style, eye for creating fresh looks, great contacts and passion for the welfare of the models she worked with, naturally led her to becoming a model booker.

Now at the top of her field she can scout and break global modelling talent together with her team at Select.

A self-confessed workaholic, her job involves finding girls that have never modelled and working with them to ensure that they are well looked after, developing them into the top models whose images grace the covers of international magazines, walk the world's catwalks and inspire trends and product sales when working on campaigns.

Do you want to break into modelling? Or perhaps you're interested in the management side of the industry? Whatever your question join our live web chat with Susannah at 1pm this Friday in the comments section below.
