The heat of the sun tingles our skin, the sound of waves clapping against the shoreline fills our ears and a striking view of the ocean overwhelms us.

That's how we picture sitting on the back lawn of Julia Robert's Hawaii holiday home which is reportedly on sale for $30 million (£20.2m).

The two-acre property in Hanalei, North Kauaʻi, boasts 200 feet of beach frontage on Hanalei Bay - considered one of the best beaches in Hawaii - with large windows so that you're never blocked from the stunning view.

Named after the original owner, sugar plantation manager H.P. Faye, The Faye Estate has seven bedrooms and four full bathrooms.

True to the Oscar-winning star's down-to-earth nature, the home is low key in decor without any flashy infinity pools, sweeping staircases and giant kitchen bars. It lets the sea views do all the talking.

Have a peek at the beautiful abode below.
