“Boss of us all”: Marion Kelly, who interrupted dad's BBC interview, becomes internet sensation

She was the indisputable star of the hilarious BBC interview that went viral last week.

And now Marion Kelly, who danced her way to mayhem while her father was midway through a Skype interview in his home office, has become an internet sensation in her own right.

The fearless four-year-old set social media alight yesterday when she joined her family at a press conference, rocking a mini trench coat and pink glasses while looking undeniably bored as she sucked on a lollipop and stared out across the crowd.

Twitter uses were quick to praise both her impeccable dress sense and sense of superiority, with one writing, “Boss of us all: Marion Kelly, BBC girl. Burberry, check! Glasses, check! Skeptical look, check!

Another added, “'If she isn't President of Earth by the time I'm 80, I'll be bitterly disappointed.”

The tot first received worldwide acclaim last week when she interrupted her father, Robert E. Kelly, as he was midway through a serious BBC interview about impeachment in South Korea.

Boldly swaggering into the room behind her unsuspecting dad, she marched straight up to the camera to stare down the interviewer, before she was swiftly joined by both her baby brother and their mum, who rushed into the room to drag them out – although by this point, the damage to the interview was already done.

Sparking hundreds of memes, news stories and opinion pieces, the tot’s carefree attitude led her to be hailed as a mini queen of the internet, with people using the hashtag #ImWithLittleHer (a nod to Hillary Clinton’s #ImWithHer campaign) to sing her praises.
