Must-watch; the new live-action Bambi movie trailer

The Rock Bambi Hero.jpg

Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella have all been given the live-action treatment, and with the cast already locked down for the filming of Beauty and the Beast, there's only one question on our minds - which Disney classic is going to be next?

Turns out it's a rather surprising new take on Bambi. Starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in the title role, this is set to be a very different version of the much-loved movie, in which Bambi and his gang take revenge on his mother's murderers.

For anyone who is slightly shocked at this new direction from Disney, fear not, as this is just a skit for popular comedy show Saturday Night Live. Each week features a new host, and this week it was the turn of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

The wrestling star and actor is pictured as a pumped up Bambi set to take down the men who killed his mother. But to do this he enlists the help of his friends from his new movie Furious 7, with Vin Diesel as Thumper, Tyrese Gibson as Flower (that's the skunk) and Michelle Rodriguez as Faline (the girl Bambi).

Of course, the actors from Furious 7 aren't actually playing the supporting roles in Bambi, they are, in fact, cast members from SNL, with Taran Killam as Vin Diesel, Jay Pharoah as Tyrese Gibson and Cecily Strong as Faline.

Watch the hilarious trailer below. Is it just us or would this film be incredible?
