If the whirl of drinks, dinners and entertaining that is Christmas usually leaves you feeling exhausted before you've even served your first vol-au-vent, Stylist is on hand to help, as we're thrilled to announce we've enlisted Nigella Lawson to take charge of a one-off takeover issue in the run up to this year's festive season.
The special collectors' edition issue, out on 7 December, will see many of our pages dedicated to food and entertaining, with the TV cook at the helm directing the content. "I have been asked many times to produce my own magazine," the Nigella Kitchen star said, "but nothing has excited me enough to put my name to it. As a big fan of Stylist, I finally feel like I’ve found the right team of people to work with to create something special.”
However, this isn't merely a case of guest editing, as Nigella explained: "I’ve already had several ideas meetings with the team and I’ll be heavily involved between now and December. I’ll also be producing exclusive recipes for the issue as well as bringing on board some exciting contributors."
Our editor, Lisa Smosarski, added, "Nigella is creative and interesting in equal measure and – as a former cover star of Stylist – she is the perfect person to collaborate on a special issue of the magazine. Food is a huge passion of many of our readers and we’re looking forward to producing our take on the genre."
The entire Stylist team are incredibly excited to work with Nigella, and we look forward to sharing the results with you in December.
