New photos have emerged of Renee Zellweger filming Bridget Jones's Baby in London.

The latest installment in the beloved Bridget Jones franchise sees our heroine aged 40 - and in case you hadn't guessed, she's about to have a baby.

The movie isn’t set to be released until September 2016 and filming is now underway in Woolwich, with photos emerging of Zellweger with faux fur-adorned faux bump.

Creator Helen Fielding’s third Bridget Jones book Mad About The Boy saw the protagonist widowed following Mark Darcy’s death, the film will offer an alternative version of events.

It’s thought the script – written by Fielding and One Day author David Nicholls (with reported involvement from Emma Thompson) – is based on newspaper columns written by Fielding rather than the novel, which took a tragic twist.

Colin Firth is already confirmed to appear in the new film, as is Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey.

Talk about the film as a serious goer first began in 2012, but was reportedly stalled by script issues and Hugh Grant’s indecision over whether to get involved.

Daniel Cleaver is nowhere to be seen so far - but Shazza is back, so at least we have that to be thankful for.
