Prince Harry 'looking for love'

He may claim thousands of fans around the world, but Prince Harry has implied that his high-profile status may get in the way of forming romantic attachments.

Speaking on US TV at the end of his Jubilee tour to Latin America, the 27-year-old royal said he was looking for someone who "would be willing" to be his partner.

"I’m not so much searching for someone to fulfil the role, but obviously, you know, finding someone that would be willing to take it on," Harry told CBS' Seth Doane.

Questioned whether being a prince lived up to its ladykiller label, he replied, "No, not at all – as any girl would ever tell you. It’s sort of, 'Oh my god, he’s a prince.' But no. The job that it entails – I mean look at me, I’m 27 years old."

"There’s a lot of times that both myself and my brother wish, obviously, that we were just completely normal," he added.

Prince Harry's most serious relationship to date has been with Chelsy Davy. It ended in 2009 after five years.

The third in line to the British throne is often pictured with admiring fans - including model Fernanda Motta (above), on his trip last week to Brazil.
