Sarah Michelle Gellar just staged the best mini 90s reunion

Calling all Buffy The Vampire Slayer fans; a mini reunion occurred over the weekend, and if you’ve got a soft spot for Cruel Intentions too, then you’ll be even more thrilled by what unfolded in Sarah Michelle Gellar’s back garden.

Holding a celeb-studded bash to celebrate her new foodie venture Foodstirs, and the launch of the company’s new cupcake kit, Gellar invited a host of her A-list pals over for a suitably pumpkin-decked garden party.

Husband Freddie Prinze Jr was of course in attendance, but to boost the 90s nostalgia to unprecedented levels, Gellar shared a snap of herself and Prinze enjoying a wholesome moment with none other than Seth Green, aka Buffy werewolf Oz, his wife Clare Grant, and Cruel Intentions co-star Selma Blair too.

But, rather gloriously, that’s not where the fuzzy 90s feels end.

Guess who else was there—only Laney Boggs, aka Rachael Leigh Cook.

That’s right, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Cruel Intentions and She’s All That have all merged into a brilliant series of ‘two decades later’ snapshots.

Having pursued her love of food and cooking while taking a break from acting (and raising a family) over the past few years, Gellar has now launched ‘kid-friendly’ lifestyle brand Foodstirs, with the help of friend Galit Laibow.

With a focus on getting the whole family involved in cooking and food prep, the brand offers up cupcake kits, cookie and brownie baking kits, pancake kits (you get the idea), all designed to bring the family closer together.

The recipes have also been stripped of unnecessary ingredients, making the whole thing a far healthier activity.

“I thought baking included butter, sugar, and water and I couldn’t even pronounce half the ingredients in these mixes,” Gellar told Vanity Fair, while discussing the moment the idea struck during a shopping trip with her daughter for baking essentials.

“So, we did some research and made our own from scratch.”

With Prinze having studied to become a top chef following his 90s and early 00s stardom, we imagine Gellar’s kits have been rigorously tested at home before hitting the shelves.
