Solange deletes pictures of Beyoncé after video of attack goes viral

After a video emerged seemingly showing Solange Knowles attacking her sister's husband, Jay Z, it would appear the Losing You singer has deleted all photos of Beyoncé from her Instagram account.

The footage of the fight is taken from a security camera , and appears to feature Solange, Beyoncé and Jay Z getting into a lift of an upmarket hotel, which was hosting a Met Ball Gala after party.

Solange appears to be shouting at Jay Z as she's being restrained by a security guard, however, she then goes to attack the 99 Problems rapper and begins kicking and throwing punches in his direction.

Jay Z doesn't appear to fight back but only holds her foot when she kicks him on the upper part of his leg. Beyoncé doesn't appear to react at all but does bend down to adjust the train on her dress.

UsWeekly has also reported that 27-year-old Solange had also been arguing with designer and Kim Kardashian's best friend Rachel Roy, as well as other guests, before she entered the lift.

When the video first emerged late yesterday evening, the internet went into speculation overdrive about what was the cause of the altercation with the hashtag #WhatJayZSaidToSolange trending worldwide.

The fight took place after the Met Ball Gala at a party at the Standard hotel. Details on who leaked the footage are unknown but the hotel released a statement to say they are looking into the matter:

"We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals involved to our fullest capacity."

After the attack, Solange and Beyoncé left in one car and Jay Z left in another separately. Two days later, the sisters attended former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland's wedding to Tim Witherspoon in Costa Rica. It is thought Jay Z did not attend the couple's nuptials.

Currently, there appear to be only two images left on Solange's Instagram account (Instagram/SaintsRecords) of her sister (bottom two images). Beyoncé also posted a cryptic message on her account just a day after the event occurred.
